Production / Sign Technician
Hollywood Signs & Graphics is a locally owned independent sign company producing signs, banners, and vehicle graphics for local companies, schools, organizations, and governing bodies—using modern tools and the latest product offerings.
Role Overview
This role focuses on hands-on sign and graphics production, including vinyl and digital print application, vehicle prep, quality control, and material handling in a small-shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Graphic and sign production, including graphic setup
- Vehicle prep and graphic application
- Vinyl and digital print application to substrates, vehicles, walls, windows, and floors
- Trim/cut materials using tools and knives for accurate individual pieces
- Quality control
- Material handling and inventory control
- Troubleshooting and basic maintenance
- Prep and apply graphics to customer-supplied items without damage (vehicles, commercial buildings/windows, small items)
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $18.50 per hour (negotiable if necessary)
- Hours: Full Time (40 hours/week) on location
- Business/Shift Hours: Mon–Thu 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Fri 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Growth: Part-time employment may be arranged later
After 90-day probation/evaluation: Increased pay assessed, 20 hours PTO, and paid holidays (New Year’s, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
After 12 months: Profit sharing monthly bonus + 8 additional PTO hours per year worked.
